This new version features:

• The registration without typing an username was removed. (That caused an issue, because ELGG uses alot the usernames for the url, so isn't a good thing to show the email in a url).

• User config verification, elgg should do this by default (I will check if it's required to open a ticket).
• The possibilty of login using either username or email.
